It’s an honor to recognize Discovery Charter Middle School’s eighth-grade student team for winning first place in the United States and second in the entire globe for the 2022 Odyssey of the Mind Championships. The championship took place in Iowa of May this year.
Odyssey of the Mind (OMTM) has been a leader in education for forty years. OMTM teaches students to develop and use their natural creativity to become problem-solvers. OMTM brings the classroom to life as students apply what they learn and combine it with their interests and passions to solve unique open-ended problems. OMTM also emphasizes teamwork, budgeting, time management, public speaking, and much more.
