The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) is committed to enhancing communications with families. To better serve CVESD, the district is excited to announce that it will be launching new communications tools for the 2025-26 school year! This all-new, integrated communications experience includes:

- A new, efficient mass messaging system for timely and dependable alerts.
- New CVESD mobile app, which will act as a communications hub for all school and district-wide messages, alerts, and news.
With these cutting-edge new tools, CVESD aims to make it easier to stay connected with all information now easily accessible on mobile devices.

Website
The district is launching a redesigned CVESD website and updated school websites, now featuring easy-to-navigate layouts and built-in blog components so each school can:
- Post stories, updates, and student celebrations regularly.
- Highlight upcoming events and photos from the classroom.
- Create a dynamic space for families to stay informed and engaged.
The new websites are mobile-friendly, user-focused, and designed to grow with each school community.
Finalsite Messaging
The new mass communications tool allows the district and school sites to send messages across text, email, voice calls, app notifications, websites, and social media — all automatically translated into each family’s preferred language. With Finalsite Messaging, families will receive:
- Emergency Alerts: Fast, accurate info during emergencies.
- Event Updates & Reminders: Timely updates on school events and activities.
- Attendance Notifications: Alerts when a child is absent or tardy.
Finalsite Messaging is connected to the student information system (eSchoolPlus), ensuring contact information stays up to date without extra steps. Families are encouraged to ensure their contact details are current with their child’s school.
