The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) is proud to join school districts throughout California in celebrating Classified School Employee Week from May 18–24, 2025. Established by a law passed by the California Legislature, this annual observance honors the invaluable services of classified employees to California public schools.

On May 21, 2025, the district held a special reception to honor its Classified Employees of the Year. The reception celebrated their achievements and recognized their invaluable impact on students, staff, and the community.
