With nearly 67.75% voter approval in the November 6, 2018, General Election, Measure VV will allow the District to renovate and modernize facilities, upgrade security and safety infrastructure, implement energy savings measures, and improve technology access within the District's 46 schools, Education Services and Support Center, and Transportation Yard. Improvements and enhancements at District facilities will provide equitable resources for all students and staff. Measure VV was supported by groups such as the San Diego County Taxpayers Association, the Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce, and many individual parent leaders and community organizations.
