The Purchasing Department is responsible for the centralized procurement of all equipment, materials, and supplies to be furnished, sold or leased to the school district; and for the competitive contracting of services, materials, equipment, and supplies required by the school sites and departments; and to operate the Printshop, Mail Room and Stores Warehouse. The Purchasing Department ensures procurement is performed according to applicable laws and District policies; and coordinates purchasing through county state, city and consortium bids to affect cost savings.  The District is a member of the North County Purchasing Consortium (NCEPC) which affords the District the combined purchasing power of 42 districts throughout San Diego County.

The Publications Department is a full-service print and copy facility, meeting special requirements of all district units. They are there to reproduce your jobs with the lowest cost possible, the best quality possible and the shortest turnaround time possible.  The Publications team is a talented group who offer superior support on all print jobs, by providing outstanding service, attention to detail and customer satisfaction at the most cost effective price possible.

The Publications Department can print:

  • Digital High Speed and Color Printing.
  • High Volume Offset Printing : Used to meet large volume, high quality printing. Most requests are returned within 24 hours.
  • Large Format Printing Production of black and white or color prints of almost any size.
  • Transparencies Production of black and white or color Transparencies.
  • Posters - color and variety of sizes

Warehouse Staff

The warehouse staff is responsible for the centralized receiving and distribution of non-stock orders; as well as maintaining the warehouse inventory and distribution of supplies ordered via requisitions by the sites.

Electronic Recycling, including lamps and batteries
Surplus Equipment
