Dr. Canales was selected as the Chapter Site Administrator of the Year for her leadership in fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for students, families, and staff. As the principal of Los Altos Elementary School, she has enhanced access to quality programming, specifically for English language learners, low-income students, and those traditionally struggling. Dr. Canales is a fierce leader who continues to bring positive changes to those around her.
As the director of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, Mr. Calleros has demonstrated visionary leadership through his development of the LEAD Program, which provides free before and after school programs for students. As the Classified Administrator of the Year recipient, Mr. Calleros continues to be a testament to his commitment in bringing equitable and engaging programs to thousands of students.
