The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) Office of Communications is awarded three Excellence in Communications Awards by the California School Public Relations Association (CalSPRA) for our outstanding communication and public relations efforts.
CVESD's video series, Stories of CVESD is awarded an Award of Merit for our commendable performance that meets high standards of professionalism in school public relations efforts. Stories of CVESD provides viewers a unique look behind the scenes of the district, highlighting our diverse programs, exceptional staff, and talented students.
Furthermore, CVESD is recognized with an Award of Excellence for our marketing and branding efforts for the latest Station Experience – Sound Station. In collaboration with the City of Chula Vista, Sound Station provides enriching experiences in music and art to sixth grade students, encouraging them to explore their passions and potential careers in the creative economy. The Sound Station branding also received the prestigious California Gold Award, distinguishing us as the highest-scoring entry across all categories in the state.
